CashMyBike.com is operated by Flip My Bike Limited, registered in the UK. We are a branch of Flip My Bike, dedicated to offering fast, fair, and secure transactions for individuals wishing to sell their bicycles.

To sell a bike through CashMyBike.com, you must:

• Be 18 years or older,
  OR be under 18 and have explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian to proceed with the sale.

• In the case of sellers under 18, these Terms & Conditions shall apply in full to their parent or legal guardian, who will be considered the responsible party for all aspects of the transaction.
   
• Be the legal owner of the bike being sold, or have permission from the legal owner to sell it.
   
• Be a UK resident with valid identification and proof of address.
   
• Be the legal owner of the bike being sold
   
• Be a UK resident with valid identification and proof of address
   

To process your sale, we require:

• Full name
   
• Contact email and phone number
   
• Pickup/delivery address
   
• Proof of ID (valid passport or driver’s license)
   
• Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement – dated within 3 months)
   
• Bike frame number
   
• Description and photos of the bike (including any known damage or faults)
   

Once you submit your bike for review, we will provide a conditional offer based on the details and images provided.

If you accept the offer:

• We will send you a 10% deposit upfront, confirming the sale and covering pickup costs.
   
• The remaining 90% will be paid upon inspection, provided the bike:
   
  • Matches the submitted description
     
  • Has no undisclosed major damage or faults
     
  • Possesses a valid and legible frame number
     
  • It is not subject to theft claims or police databases
     

If the bike does not meet the agreed condition, we reserve the right to:

• Renegotiate the final offer, or
   
• Return the bike at your expense
   

• We will arrange a courier to collect the bike, or offer drop-off points depending on location.
   
• Packaging and safe delivery are the responsibility of the seller if using third-party shipping.
   
• The bike must arrive within 7 days of the deposit payment to finalise the transaction.
   

By selling your bike to CashMyBike.com, you confirm that:
 

• You own the bike and have the right to sell it
   
• It is not stolen, subject to finance, or involved in any legal disputes
   
• We perform frame number checks and may cross-reference police records or databases (e.g. BikeRegister).
   

We take fraud seriously. If any false or misleading information is submitted, or if the bike is reported as stolen, we reserve the right to:

• Withhold payment
   
• Report the case to the authorities
   
• Recover all costs incurred
   

• The 10% deposit is refundable only if we cancel the transaction for internal reasons (e.g. courier cancellation, inspection delays).
   
• If the seller cancels after the deposit, we may withhold this amount to cover costs.
